Dan Wagner

Dan Wagner – Director of Student Ministries

Hey there, my name is Dan Wagner, but many refer to me as D-Wag and I am the Student Ministries Director here at THBC. I love sports (especially soccer and golf), music, camping, trying new things and hanging out with other people.

Did I mention I enjoy hanging out with “other people?”  These other people include being with students. Call me crazy, but I truly do have a passion to work with youth both inside and outside of our church. Youth bring joy to my heart and I love seeing them as they grow up to be young men and women of God. Youth leaders in my past have impacted me so much in my life that is has become my passion to do the same for other youth that I come in contact with.

Now that you know a small bit of who I am and what I do, it is important for you to know where I come from. I am very closely knit to my family, which includes my father, my mother, and my sister. I love them more than anything else in this world. As far as education goes, I graduated from Mason County Central High School in 2003 and then went on to Spring Arbor University for my four year undergrad degree. Upon completion of college in 2007, at which I received a major in Youth Ministry and a Minor in Camping and Outdoor Recreation I moved to Tustin, MI to serve at our church camp “Center Lake Bible Camp,” as an intern. It is at Center Lake where I have spent nine full summers of my life doing youth camps and I have many stories and memories from those opportunities.

I’ve been on staff at THBC since May of 2008 and loving what I do. It is my goal and prayer to be a resource to the youth and their families here in the church as I continue to better train and equip the youth to grow up as people who are desperately and passionately in love with Christ.
