Shower Ministry

Once each month (usually on the fourth Friday), THBC opens its doors for those desiring a refreshing shower and a hot meal. Caring people will welcome you warmly, and walk you through the process. Please call 231-968-4175 if you wish to attend. Call as soon as possible, so we can make your visit as pleasant and productive as possible.

Paul wrote this letter to the Church at Philippi to encourage them to continue to live out their faith and to endure suffering . As we walk through this book together, we will see how we, too, need to be encouraged to live out our faith in Christ in all circumstances, and do it with joy.

Elisha and Elijah

with Pastor Aaron 


Kids from Pre-K through 5th grade are invited to their own growth group taught by Pastor Aaron. We will look through the books of 1st and 2nd Kings, seeing how God works through Elijah and Elisha. 

There will be crafts, games, Bible stories, and lots of fun!

Youth Group All Nighter

Get ready for an unforgettable event! Join us at the church from 8:00 pm Friday, January 30th to 8:00 am Saturday, January 31st. We’ll have games, food, activities, and tons of late-night fun. Invite your friends, bring your energy and get ready for an epic night together!

Men’s Ministry

Dinner and a Hockey Game

Join us for a fun night out at the Ferris Men’s Hockey game on Saturday, January 31st!  We’ll kick off the evening with dinner together, before heading to the arena to cheer on the Bulldogs. It’s a great chance to connect, enjoy good food, and support the team. Game tickets are covered by THBC – dinner is your responsibility. (We have a room reserved at Ruby Tuesday in Reed City).

Ladies Morning

Bible Study

The morning Ladies Bible Study, A Comparative Study of the Gospels, will resume on Wednesday, February 4th at 9:30 am. You can easily join this study in progress, if you weren’t able to attend the first sessions.

There will be no study on February 18th and 25th.

Ladies Winter

Bible Study

The evening Ladies Bible Study, The Sermon on the Mount by Jen Wilkins , will resume on Tuesday, February 10th at 6:00pm. You can easily join this study in progress, if you weren’t able to attend the first sessions. In this study, we will learn what it means to be a citizen of the kingdom of Heaven according to Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount.

Study is led by Bonnie

Alworden. Book is $25.00.

Because northern Michigan's winter weather is not always conducive to walking for exercise, THBC opens its gym doors 9 am to 3 pm. All are welcome.

Awana is a nondenominational ministry that assists churches in reaching children and teenagers with the gospel of Jesus Christ and training them to serve Him.
