men's ministry

Our Men's Ministry exists to fulfill the Great Commission that was given to us by Jesus Christ - to make disciples, baptizing them, and teaching them to observe all that Christ has commanded us in His Word (Matthew 28:19-20). The way that we do that is by asking men to join one of our discipleship groups. A men's discipleship group consists of four men who meet every other week (some groups meet weekly) to discuss a passage of Scripture together, provide accountability for one another, and to pray for one another.

Once a quarter, we will gather together and provide a large group men's ministry event. This might be just a meal and some fellowship, or a service project, or a retreat, etc. At this event, there will be a time to share some wins or challenges you might be facing as a group and to receive encouragement from other groups.

1613 Men's Conference - Friday 6-9 pm; Saturday 7:30 am-5 pm

We are teaming up with First Baptist Church of Cadillac to participate in a men’s conference on Friday, July 17 and Saturday July 18. This will be a simulcast event, meaning we will watch the conference on the big screen in real time while it takes place in Ohio. Speakers include people like Nick Freitas, Wes Huff, and many more. First Baptist is hosting this event (125 Stimson Street) and will provide the food for the conference. Cost is $25 per person. Sign up at the table in the foyer by June 29^th if you plan to attend. The church office will register those who are signed up. Please pay the church office or put your registration fee in the church offering and label it “1613 Men’s Conference”. Checks may be made out to THBC. For more information, go to https://1613mensconference.com r see Pastor Andy.
