Every Wednesday, THBC Prayer Warriors meet to lift up God's people and their needs in prayer. All are welcome to join this group.

Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays - Fit Walk

Because northern Michigan's winter weather is not always conducive to walking for exercise, THBC opens its gym doors 9 am to 3 pm. All are welcome.

Wednesdays 6:30-8:00 pm - AWANA

Awana is a nondenominational ministry that assists churches in reaching children and teenagers with the gospel of Jesus Christ and training them to serve Him. See this website's front page for a link to more information.

Teaching to Change Lives - with Pastor Andy

For those currently teaching any age group and for those desiring to teach, come and learn how to better

think through, plan, prepare and structure a lesson in order to maximize gospel transformation.

Philippians - with Pastor Bart

Paul wrote this letter to the Church at Philippi to encourage them to continue to live out their faith and to endure suffering. As we walk through this book together, we will see how we, too, need to be encouraged to live out our faith in Christ in all circumstances, and do it with joy.

Meets in the Fellowship Hall.

Elisha and Elijah - with Pastor Aaron 

Kids from Pre-K through 5^th grade are invited to their own growth group taught by Pastor Aaron. We will look through the books of 1^st and 2^nd Kings, seeing how God works through Elijah and Elisha. There will be crafts, games, Bible stories, and lots of fun!

Ladies' Bible Study - Now through 4.29.26

Tuesday mornings at 9:30 am

The morning Ladies Bible Study, is A Comparative Study of the Gospels.

Study is led by Cindy Syzmanski

Wednesday evenings at 6:00pm

You can easily join the evening Ladies Bible Study, The Sermon on the Mount by Jen Wilkins, Tuesdays at 6:00pm. 

In this study, we will learn what it means to be a citizen of the kingdom of Heaven according to Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount.

Study is led by Bonnie

Alworden. Book is $25.00.

Marriage Retreat

Marriage is a blessing from the Lord. Whether your marriage is going great, or you are having some difficulties, we encourage you to come and be a part of the Marriage Retreat at The Shack in White Cloud, MI (www.shackretreat.org). This is a beautiful location to get away with your spouse and focus attention on your marriage. Accommodations and all meals are provided for the retreat (Rooms all have hot tubs and some even have a fireplace). We have reserved 12 rooms, but can add more if needed. The cost for the weekend is $350/couple. Please sign up on the table outside the auditorium as soon as possible so we can let The Shack know if we need more rooms. If you have any questions, please see Pastor Bart.

Church Ministries Conference

The theme this year is “Be Courageous”. This conference is for any lay person to be encouraged, empowered, and equipped in the areas of ministry in which they serve. It is a valuable time of networking and learning together. Informational brochures are on the table in the foyer, along with a sign-up sheet. Cost for the event is $50 if registered before March 2^nd, and more than likely, we will have scholarships available. If you have questions, please see Pastor Andy or Pastor Bart. 

March 22, 2026 - 5:00 pm

Seder Dinner

You’re invited to join us for a Seder Dinner on Sunday, March 22^nd at 5:00 pm. Ty Perry from Friends of Israel will guide us through this important Biblical tradition. We will participate in the Seder meal, and then we will have a “regular” meal to follow. The main course will be provided by the church, but we ask that you bring a side or dessert to pass. Sign up at the table in the foyer or call the church office if you are planning to attend.

March 18, 2026 - 9am-12 pm

Grub and Scrub Shower Ministry

Once each month (usually on the fourth Friday), THBC opens its doors for those desiring a refreshing shower and a hot meal. Caring people will welcome you warmly, and walk you through the process. Please call 231-968-4175 if you wish to attend. Call as soon as possible, so we can make your visit as pleasant and productive as possible.

Rooted Young Adults Ministry

Young adults ages 18-35 are invited to join this monthly gathering for fellowship, worship and study.

This is a once-per-month get together, and singles and young married couples (married 5 years or less) are welcome.
